great video. be careful with that wall tho, i had a knife fly back and miss my head by what seemed to be an inch. (lol)

First thing I look for is weight and balance. A good knife will have a balance point roughly at the center. Also, if you're into blade throwing, it's a given not to buy one sharp. Also keep in mind that the point of highest pressure is at the tip. A good bendability-to-hardness ratio can be found in almost any steel.Lastly, I am a big man with large hands. I have knives that weigh over half a pound and over 14 inches.

The smaller the knife, the greater the challenge.
