Nonesense - if treatment is urgently required you get it urgently if it can wait despite some pain then you wait and often not too long either. The long wait that make the press are the exception and are the result of exceptional circumstances. But you are right you can pay to go elsewhere if you wish - nobody is stopping you.

Make medical training cheap or better still free like it is in Europe. Stop turning everything in life into a money making opportunity. Some things need to be done because it is good that they should be done.

Looks like socialized healthcare systems have retained earnings just like private companies. And they obtain those profits by denying care.
