Valesquez MMA - Heidelberg College - Ground and Pound Apr08


Here are some videos taken at out MMA practice at Heidelberg College. These were taken over two days, the second day we only pulled out a couple mats for some quick rounds.Dr. Steven Velasquez instructs the class, using his multiple black belts, wrestling background and years of experience learning and teaching.

Here Steve gets on the mat with some of his students to give them a different type of challenge. Before you comment, yes sometimes we played around, and nowe aren't all UFC veterans. We are a combination of Karate, BJJ, college wrestlers and mixed martial artists having fun training.

Tim Lemmon: Uechi Ryu Sankyu, 8+ years experience in various martial arts.

Bill Wettrich: Uechi Ryu Nikyu, Shotokan Do Kime Ryu Sankyu, 4+ years experience, amateur mixed martial artist.
