tomandjj: I do believe that they add helium to deep sea diver tanks albeit a small amount, to help balance out the nitrogen/ oxygen mix.

no there is no industrial grade of helium and even if there was there is no way to increase asphyxiation to a point where it displaces oxygen faster. Regular helium's only impurities are about 0.001% neon. Look it up if you wish. and since neon cannot be used in respiration either then regular helium already asphyxiates at a 100% level.

Ive heard from a lot of ppl that inhaling helium is toxic and can kill you. I think its actually the part where they only breathe helium and then die form lack of oxygen. Its safe to take full lung fulls as long as you breathe air for a minute afterwards, right?
