Its supposed to be like that - it's replicating silent movie style filming...that's why it flickers etc

I've really liked this song for more than 2 years now, but wow.. this videos is horrible..I like mercury rev, but I understand why some people call it shallow and pretentious.. that's exactly what the video is.. but don't only judge on that.. listen to the music..No doubt that I can make a better video.. these shots are horrible, intersecting between fastmotion, focus and then out of focus.. Its not an efford to be different.. its just blowing up.. good song!
