No, You are all very misinformed as to what is happening on heroes. It has been said in interviews with the writers/producers that sylar lost ALL (Excluding intuitive aptitude, and telekinesis) of his powers from season one when he contracted the Shanti virus. So far he has telekinesis, healing, alchemy, sound manipulation, and the ability to know objects history by touching them. That is it, he did not have his enhanced hearing in that episode.

No you noob, Sylar stole the hearing ability from the woman in season one who can hear when the weather is coming or not. She can predict it. Thats not the ability to hear people from a far distance!
