I totally agree on: #1 the comparison, White Stripes are quite good, but completely different. #2 - Dan, is one of the best rock guitarists I've heard in 40+ years (yes, I'm that old). He's got so much down, playing multi-parts like a much older guy(Lead&Rhythm, sometimes all 3 parts), it blows me away. Pat is also as good a drummer as been around for awhile. These guys play at or above "Cream" level, Clapton / Baker, and don't need the third guy. Wish they got more airplay........

stop comparing the black keys and the white stripes just because they're two member bands, they're inherently different. and "dessmondo" if you're going to say jack is a better guitarist at least learn to spell and jack and dan play so differently its not worth comparing and dan auerbach completely shreds.
