Video Info:
My son was killed in a car accident last year because a senile, 78 year old woman ran a red light and hit us causing us to flip into a ditch. Kyle's seatbelt came unlatched during the roll and he was ejected. His seatbelt was later examined by several experts who determined it was faulty and told me that seatbelts can and do fail, especially in roll over accidents. I had no idea that seatbelts could fail and think that this is something everyone should be made aware of. The government also needs to be more strict about making sure the people they issue licenses to are fit to drive...

Saw this video after today buying a booster seat for my 3.5 year old daughter, allowing her 14 month old brother to use the 5-point harness.I wept watching the video of your beautiful son and am now contacting Britax to find the British equivalent of the Regent seat (and one that will work in a car without a LATCH/Isofix system).

God bless you.

I am so sorry for your loss, but thank you for making us aware. I pass this video on whenever I can. I bought Apex 65 carseats for my sons (all 3 of them). They can be in them upto 65#with the 5pt. harness, and 100# with the seat belt. My 5 year old is still in his 5pt. harness. Every time I watch your video I cry, but thank you again for sharing your story. Kyle's death will not be in vein. Tara

I was online searching for a booster seat and a harness that would allow my son's harness belt to work. When I saw this video, I went and dug his 5 point restraint car seat out of the trash pile...thankfully the trash guys hadn't picked it up yet. I am so sorry for your loss. So very sorry.
