Restored 1886 Star high-wheel bicycle being ridden!


This 1886 Star high-wheel bicycle was restored and is being ridden by Casey of www.putschracing.com . This original high-wheel is on display at the Seneca County Museum in Tiffin, Ohio. It was built by the Smith Machine Company in Smithville, New Jersey back in 1886. Keep your antiques maintained and use them. That is what they are for and the best way for people to appreciate them.

Question # 2, 3, and 4 ... does anybody (or company) now-a-days make (Q-2) bicycle rims, (Q-3) inner-tubes, and (Q-4) tires as big as that High Wheel bike has ??? ... or bigger ???
