Clydesdales at the 2008 Seneca County Fair, Tiffin Ohio

Clydesdales at the Seneca County Fair, July 27th, 2008. In my quest to learn about draft horses and all involved in owning/showing them I am volunteering with a couple local Clydesdale hitch teams. It is my goal to eventually own my own Clydes! As I was pretty busy back at the trailers helping with the horses I missed most of the classes. I did get some video of the junior's cart and team classes. I don't think the judge and ringmaster knew there were 12 hitch teams in the team class... they tried to fit all 12 in the arena at once. Confusion reigned supreme... lol. They eventually sorted it out and split the class. Adding to the confusion was 4 pieces of heavy equipment working the tractor pull track right next to the show, all freakin day... Both teams did well!*NOTE* videos will occasionally be taken down and replaced as I attempt to improve the quality of my videos.

Thanks to AmericaHD for all her help in sorting out the quality issues!

oh... lol... actually that BBQ vendor was from Fremont! As far as I know none of the horses had BBQ that day... lol. And the bust happened several days before the show. Come to think of it... I had some of their BBQ earlier that week. Pretty sure mine was crack-free.

Thanks for the nice note and compliment! Unfortunately they aren't my horses... lol... I'm just working with them - helping out the owners so I can learn more about what is involved with owning and showing drafts. It takes a lot of work to get the horses ready for a show. So the owners enthusiastically accpeted my offer of free labor in exchange for knowledge! As a bonus they have all become good friends so I really lucked out!
