Barsaat Ki Ek Raat


Barsat Ki Ek Raat is a story depicting a tussle between the good and the evil, showing no matter how formidable the latter might be, it ultimately gets vanquished by the former.In a small town, lives Abhijeet - Amitabh Bachchan, a young and intelligent man. He loves Rajni - Rakhee Gulzar, the blind daughter of a Tea Estate Manager, in the same Town lives, Kaliram - Amjad Khan an epitome of a demon. One night when Rajni is alone, Kali breaks into her house with an intention to satiate his lust for her. But abhijeet comes to her rescue and gets Kali arrested. Abhijeet gets married to Rajni . Marriage is pure bliss for Rajni and a few years pass before she finds that their love is soon to blossom into an offspring of their own. It's a life's dream coming true. But alas! One night abhijeet comes home to find their dreams shattered. Some beast has molested his wife and killed his child in her. Who is He?

Shakti Samanta never made such ORDINARY movies with such a great cast! What a waste of great talent? Good&evil are never so black&white in real life! A sheer waste of cinema, story!!
