The Trip to Tiffin, OH: 4-14-09

Tuesday was marked as the first day of my railfanning portion of Spring Vacation, and day one was mainly getting to Tiffin, along with making a couple stops along the way. On this rainy, dreary day (Pleases excuse any rain drops on the lens) we made stops in Attica, Republic, and did some railfanning in Tiffin.Train 1: The first train we see is at Attica Junction, and is Q381, which is led by a BNSF H1 C44-9W, a pair of H2 C44-9Ws and a brand new ES44DC out of Erie.Train 2: Q135 is the next to pound the diamonds with a pair of C40-8Ws and an ES44DC on the point.Train 3: Q375 races through with two AC4400CWs on the point.Train 4: We move on to Republic where we just barely catch Q110 racing east with three ES44DCs in commandTrain 5: The rain is still pouring as Q358 negotiates the scenic curve with a couple AC4400CWs leading.Train 6: Q137 is the first train to appear in Tiffin, and has an ES44DC and an Ex-Conrail on the point.Train 7: A single SD70MAC takes Q635 west past the open field in Tiffin.Train 8: Q161 rolls through next, led by an ES44DC and an AC4400CWTrain 9: As the sky becomes darker, Q156 cruises across the Sandusky River, and has a pair of AC4400CWs in command. Thanks for watching, and watch out for even more videos to come!
