A drive north on Washington Street Tiffin, Ohio. The old City center has seen better days. Sadly, a local description of the down town is, "Old Ugly."The town has been very hard hit with the recession / depression, and huge job loss to foreign trade. As incomes keep dropping, the local cash flow base is at an all time low.This clip was made in September of 2010.

Many of the youth have had to relocate to find employment. There are positive reasons remain to stay in the area. 20 cars are a traffic jam! It is just sad to see a culture, and an area with such a proud history slowly go by the way. This year could very well be the end of the local Heritage Festival.

Looks like Tiffin alright. Grew up there and made that drive a million times. I moved on 30+ years ago since opportunity knocked elsewhere. Great place to grow up but sorry to see it go through this decline.
