Sarka Centrifuge - Parts De-oiler - Fastener Industry

This is a quick video of a Sarka Centrifuge. (Parts De-oiler)They basically "spin" the oil off of manufactured parts. These are typically used to de-oil nuts and flange nuts from approx ¼" up to about ¾" by up to about 1" -- 1 ½" long. You typically wouldn't want to spin parts that are threaded on the OD as thread damage could result. You also don't want to spin "long&skinny" parts as they could be bent by the centrifugal force. We also have customers using these to spin their scrap! The oil can be put back into their machines, and the scrap is worth more because it's not soaked with oil.For years, manufacturers have ran their parts through "parts washers".While this cleans the parts very well, it has several flaws :- The parts will then need coated with "rust inhibitor" or they will rust during shipping- The oily water you are left with is hazardous waste- The oil you remove from the parts is lost (you actually have to pay to get rid of it once mixed with the solvent)Our centrifuges solve all of these issues :- The parts are left with a very slight coat of oil on them to prevent rust in shipping- The oil that is spun off the parts can be reclaimed and dumped back into the tapping or forming machines- There is no "hazardous waste" to be disposed of.The unit in this video is a "batch" unit with a large storage hopper on top for product. But we can also install these inline with your production equipment to remove all material handling. We have 3 "standard" sizes avaliable, and can create about any custom size you need.Throughput will vary on how oily the parts are, what kind of oil, and how much oil you want to remove. The cycle time is totally adjustable, and of course the faster and longer you spin the parts, the cleaner they will be. The cleaner you need them, and the thicker the oil, the longer the cycle time will be.Contact Sarka today to find out how we can start saving you money!Sarka Conveyor&Automation SystemsTiffin, Ohio 44883419-447-4377sales@sarkaconveyors.com
