To each their own. I believe Dave Gahan is an excellent singer, I mean technically he's very good, but I can't stand his feminine mannerism, it makes me cringe all the time. He just doesn't do it for me as a frontman, just my opinion.

It doesn't matter who came first, I just think that New Order are more talented and more genuine. This is coming from someone who used to like Depeche Mode more than New Order during their peaks. Anyway, it's ok if you like them equally too, they're both good, I was just sharing my view of things.

I also like New Order&Depeche Mode but I don't think New Order has as good of a presence as DM. It's difficult to compete with Dave Gahan as a frontman in that respect.

1
