Synergy Brass Quintet


Acclaimed for their technical virtuosity, outstanding showmanship and diverse programming,the Synergy Brass Quintet has emerged as one of the country's most exciting ensembles. Already in their young career, Synergy has performed across the country and has participated in some of the world's most prestigious music festivals including the Ravinia Music Festival, the Bethlehem Musikfest, the Tanglewood Festival and even the Boston Early Music Festival. After hearing the ensemble at Tanglewood in 2003, Samuel Adler invited Synergy to perform on the premiere recording of his "Transfiguration: An Ecumenical Mass." In addition to Synergy's rigorous performance schedule, the ensemble dedicates an enormous amount of time to the education of tomorrow's musicians and music-lovers. Synergy Brass Quintet has served as Quintet-in-Residence at the Boston University Tanglewood Institute and has presented master classes and events at public schools, colleges and conservatories including The Boston Conservatory,Rice University, Northwestern University, the SanFrancisco Conservatory, Oklahoma University, theUniversity of Illinois, Eastman School of Music, the Manhattan School of Music and more. Throughworkshops, clinics, residencies and master classes the Synergy Brass Quintet uses their talents to inspire a passion for music in the next generation.
