Kwere-Kwere, South African Brutal Cops - South Africa


September 2005This report denounces the brutal treatment of illegal immigrants by the South African police as well as the thriving corruption among its services.The so-called 'raiding squads', which are responsible for officially charging, detaining and deporting illegal immigrants are in fact running a sordid but lucrative business, releasing the detainees for a high fee. They do not hesitate to use unmotivated physical and verbal violence against the people they arrest. Among other shocking stories, the film features the case of a Congolese woman viciously attacked in her own home and her fight for justice. Since xenophobia is widespread in all levels of South African society, there is little or no sympathy for the injustice done to immigrants.

makheyi: my family have been in SA since 1688. You're as uninformed as you are arrogant. When the white pop was 3m the black&coloured pop was 26m. Then, as now, 95% of the tax revenue was paid by the whites. If you want to characterise the dysfunctionality of post colonial Black Aftrica try these desciptions: lazy, stupid, greedy, corrupt and violent. The White government when in power only needed to cater for the needs of two million white people. Then a frail old man, after being locked up in a cage for over 20 years on Robben Island, with no contact with the outside world, was expected to miraculously satisfy the needs of 44 million Blacks and 4 million Whites instantly. You dont know our history to educate us, go back home and let us handle our business. You have your sick country to heal, go to work there asshole.

sshapewa: look at the video again and understand that this is just TYPICAL BLACK BEHAVIOUR, and the country went downhill bigtime since they took over in 1994. During the apartheid period the blacks had a higher standard of living and more legal rights than any other African country. Now look at the Rainbow Nation LMFAO
