LadyB,I live in louisiana. Im sure there was people helping out in N.O. There are good people there but years later there still bitching about the government instead of moving on with thier lives. As far as the racial comments I have not made one. However New Orleans Mayor is a racist "chocolate" city piece of shit. Lost all respect for New Orleans when he was voted back in as mayor. WTF. Good job Iowans you did well

There were people who helped out, did what they could. There were also people who didn't do a thing cause they were unable to. Yes, actually there was quite a bit of looting, and someone did get murdered during the flood, and other nastiness including several threats of riots and angery people. But ye know what... all we want to do is to rebuild and get on with our lives.Knock off your racial comments people. It's most uncalled for!

new orleans should take notes on how to help your community not bitch,whine, loot, or shoot helicopters trying to help you, or wait for fema to hand out checks. Where is spike lee or hollywood doing a telephone marathaon to raise money for Iowa victims? You wont hear about this flood in another 2 weeks because the Iowans come together and take care of themselves and each other like americans should!!!!
