dobermanns tend to not bite very well when you put all the control work on them necessary for KNPV and the other bite suit sports. If they did well consistently then the dutch would train them, but they tend to dissapoint.

well, how do they get trained. Now i really like to hear, cause i think its a bit bullshit what you say. ( i have trained 4 doggs, please dont bullshit me)

Hardness, steadiness en trainabillity are the foremost traits of the cross-Malinois and (cross)Dutch shepherd.If the Dobermanns were tough enough and steady enough the members of the KNPV quarters would use them but nowadays the shepherds are by far the best breed to train for police work (they gain the most points on these events in The Netherlands, remember that the Dutch have breed and trained for over 100 years working and police dogs .
