Truth is, only 1 out of 10,000 of the people with actual talent that try to make it in Nashville, or the entertainment field, have any level of success at all. And those that do, face continued negative remarks and comments throughout whatever "career" they may establish. Most "normal" people are not willing to live like that. If one person's opinion was enough to send your friend packing, then they were right. She didn't have what it takes.

Excuse me, but you're sounding a bit racist yourself referring to white country singers as bitches. You need to do some research, dear, ever heard the name Charlie Pride? Cowboy Troy? Country music is not racist, it could simply be that your friend didn't have the singing qualities that they were looking for. To be honest, the reason you dont see many black country music artists nowadays is because almost every black person you see with talent is using it on R&B or rap.

... still kickin, but not in country. If nashville producers tell you to your face "A black woman will NEVER make it in country." the message is clear, CM is racist, they're protecting their own.
