NO it doesnt do 50MPGIt really does 25MPG which is crap when you compare it with the petrols, 25MPG. A diesel will never put on the satisfaction of a PETROL. You get so much high rev power, not low rev tractor noise.

Great design of car though

They made this car so good but.They would spoil it if they put in a Diesel engine.THey should put in a petrol V12 instead, much better sound and much better power.

THE v12 DIESEL would still sound like a diesel, have a low rev band and it wouldn't be that economical.

WHO BUYS AN R8 FOR ECONOMY.
