Could be. I know that this is not really a true Cajun song. It was composed by Don Rich, Buck Owens' lead guitar player. It has many of the same musical characteristics as "Buckaroo," another Don Rich tune.

This sounds an awful lot like "armadillo stomp" by Commander Cody&The Lost Planet Airmen on the live album "From Deep in the Heart of Texas"
