I enjoyed Freddy's performance -- passionate, rhythmical, fiery.

Pollini's Etudes benefit from a 'bright' piano, less resonance, his rapid tempos suffer less in audio compressions.

Gould's clean textures&light pedaling work particularly well with Flash. He understood the recording&reproductive technology of his day, adapted to it and played exclusively for it. Pianists used to projecting across, and recording in large resonating halls sometimes depreciate at rapid tempos on YouTube.

Eh well having sorta played this, I can hear every note, and it's very very even, but it's completely lacking in structure and shape.
