Nice way to generalize individuals for nearly every country, socio-economic backgrounds, heights and weights...etc. I could say the same thing about bjj, catch, and the like-but then I would just be showing my ignorance just like you.I'm confused with the "every single sport...activity known to man" thing, but I guess you mean that you rule and I suck. You say that you "got owned" by a novice so maybe we can settle this in a few years. I will need a place to stay though.

you see like every wrestler your mindset is primitive as well as your sport. If you are ever in brazil I will gladly own you in every single sport known to man as well as any activity known to man. Read what i replied to and what I said instead of going on youtube being a bitch.

I doubt that you "did wrestling" for ten years, maybe in youth club-you "wrestle". Wrestling has it's own skill set just as every other sport has and quite frankly the two sports are very similar (jiu-jitsu). I wrestled in hs and college and now coach on the hs level, and I am able to pull technique from both sports to enhance my wrestling and jujitsu respectively. And At 39 years of age I can tell you without conditioning, neither sport is much fun for you or your partners.

That is why it is good to go outside of the box and practice other styles of wrestling and grappling.

Wrestling is a great sport, and you can learn many effective take downs and ground manipulation, and it can benefit well with BJJ training.

BJJ, freestyle, Catch-as-catch-can, Sambo, Judo, Greco-Roman, etc... they are all there to be studied and appreciated.
