Hi jhmathwizar. Thanks for your comments.I am currently making two celtic harps of 34 strings with semitone levers on B flat, F&C sharps. The first one is for a student of mine. The shape is square soundbox. The available harp is made of very rare Australian Scented Rosewood, with solid cedar soundboard. Price would be AUS$5,000-, plus packing&shipping. Check out the exchange rates to see if it is possible for you. I am looking into providing online tuition in the future, if possible.

beautiful. for some reason the sound of the harp calms me down, in contrast to all other instruments. now i have the sudden urge to buy a celtic harp and learn how to play it. any suggestions?

Hi louiese. I am mostly self taught, but had been performing on lutes&guitar for many years before the harp. I worked out some logical fingering for chords&scales, as you would for a piano or guitar etc,&listened to good harpists whenever possible.Hope that helps ! Good luck !
