the purpose of this scene (the whole thing) is that the spirit is re-enacting her final moments where she tried to escape from her husband that was beating her to death.

I watched this part 1 yesterday, its a little weird cause you gotta read the whole movie in sub, but it was scary as shit! Everyone looked so freakin weird..
