Glad you enjoyed it, the block done by sam kwok is a Biu Sau. It is a traditional Wing Chun technique found in the first and third wing chun hand forms.

Thanks for the upload! One of the biggest things I worried about, as a beginning wing chun practitioner, was defending against outside line attacks like the lead and rear hand hook. It's awesome that S. Kwok is able to adapt the traditional tan sao to an outer form block and make it an effective response to outside line attacks.

Thanks very much for the upload!

So you mean Mr.Yip never done Weng Chung?

I feel bad for you, your instructor doesnt know his Wing Chun history. no1) Traditionally in China/HK there are no gardes for Wing chun, but grading is sometimes useful so ok. no2)This stance /\ (sil lim tao) is for training the power in your legs, not many wing chun schools use it to fight, tehy use \ \ (chum Kiu) no3) Ip Man never learnt Shaolin Kung Fu. He learnt from Chan Wai and later Leung Bik neither were shaolin or even close to shaolin. out of curiosity who is your instructor/Sifu?
