Kalari Martial Arts

7 minutes of some amazing Martial Arts by my friends in Kerala, South India. It's from a very, very rough video - remember those? filmed by one camera at a time, so picture quality is rough. But you should be able to geta feel for the martial art form itself.

Japanese people are of chinese origin, despite whatever prejudices held. China means Grappling, In the empire of China well even before before it was the empire, China was an important part of the martial art. You will notice when you look at these old combat forms, devoid of useless flowering and study their principals it is the same as jiujutsu. Now you can see the cultural modifications that Japanese culture has brought but the same moves.

>RyukikonIndia surely influences martial arts in China. The Bodhidharma(達磨大師) did to China simultaneously with the Buddhism.
I do not know martial arts in Japan that China influences excluding the Karate. It is a story when Okinawa was Ryukyu Dynasty. The Karate is martial arts in Okinawa where the influence of China was received.
