Actually there is no literally translation for each part. Tae Kwon Do means: The Way of the Hand and Foot. Tae = hand, Kwon = foot, Do = the Way. A lot of martial arts simply mean "the way of something", or "peace" etc.Which brings you back to the roots once you start thinking of that.

i mean taekwondo is a great sport, it should be more famous i think.. i do taekwondo im on competitions but i want to have tkd on tv ;D
