To add to that, a fruit reproduces when either farmers replant it or naturally when animals eat it and poo it out. Fruit eaten by insects doesnt reproduce and so obviosly its a battle of nature. I used to be all organic, but it makes sense to me, my body will stop being able to fight these chemicals. What if my daughter is brought up organic and then decides not to be? Or her mum doesnt pass antibodies on to fight chemicals?.Pesticides are here to stay, and I want by body to have small doses.

I watched a documentry on it. Basically if fruit didnt have their own natural pesticide, it would be eaten. Some crops are stronger to insects than others. These are the ones that are re-planted by the farmers and natural selection. Natural pesticides still cause cancer in large enough doses. My friend - a tomato grower confirmed this.I believe not eating a lot of food is more important than being organic. A certain amount of chemicals is good for body defence,just like germs for immune system.
